Harper Hopkins

My name is Harper Hopkins. I’m an 11 year old from Alma, NE. I’m an active and extremely social 5th grader. I love school! I love to read and learn about different people. My favorite people to read about are: Helen Keller, Rosa Parks, Harriet Tubman and Eleanor Roosevelt.

My favorite sports are basketball, gymnastics, swimming and track. I’m currently on our school’s basketball team, I can do the middle splits and I’ve recently joined the Special Olympics team in Kearney for swimming. I also love to tell jokes. (Ask me “How do you wake up Lady Gaga?”)

I’m smart, I’m strong and I’m very excited to be Nebraska’s 2024 Pre Teen Queen. I want to show people what people with Mosaic Down Syndrome can do!
