Jenny Riggs

Hello, my name is Jenny Riggs. I was born in Oklahoma City and I grew up in Greenbrier Arkansas. I went to school in this small town until she was through high school. The teachers and people commented on one thing: my beautiful smile.

Even in Arkansas, I started gymnastics and therapeutic horseback riding. I moved to Nebraska in 2010 to be closer to my grandparents and I was so willing to help her grandparents. I would walk with her grandpa to make sure he didn’t fall.

This last year I have blossomed in Special Olympics activities. I have done soccer, horseback riding, bocce ball, soccer, basketball, swimming, powerlifting, bowling and a class at Crossfit. One year ago in February, I moved into an apartment with two other young ladies. I am striving to be more independent.

It was an exciting event to become involved with Miss Amazing!
